Capture NX goes Universal at Macworld

In other Macworld news, Nikon Capture NX goes Universal Binary! A demonstration of Capture NX, in Beta format, is available at Nikon’s booth during the MacWorld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, January 9-12.
And it seems that the speed at which the program could render a D2X NEF as it opened was dramatically faster than the current PowerPC version of the program on the same machine…
The Capture NX update will be available for download as soon as it is ready for release, at an estimated selling price of $149.95. A 30-day trial version will be available, for new users, and can be downloaded at Nikonusa.com, in the “Software Download” section. Current users of Capture NX will be also able to download an upgrade at no additional cost. Thanks Nikon!
