Every once in a while, we get to see some amazing photos of random things. But those photos of planes landing on Sint Marteen’s island are just insane!
It doesn’t happen randomly once in a while over there… No, it happens every single day!

We have all heard of the Digg Effect or the Slashdot Effect, but the AGLOCO Effect? Well, AGLOCO recently sent out an email update to all members. The update highlights AGLOCO’s growth and goal of 10 million users by July 1st. 2007.
AGLOCO is actually the new name for AllAdvantage 2.0 – a site that paid you to surf the Internet. What’s more, it paid you when you refer other people to surf, and paid you again if those people referred other people – down four levels.
Yes, you heard me right… it pays you when you refer other people to surf the web! What’s the catch? No catch – no spyware, no pop-ups and no spam – membership and software are free!

Our buddies at DPReview just posted the full review on the Samsung NV7 OPS. Now, with a unique “Smart Touch” interface, the Samsung NV7 OPS made some waves at Photokina 2006.
The 7.2-megapixel digital camera nixes the traditional multi-selector and opts for a more innovative system. It isn’t a touch screen and it isn’t buttons – but it’s something in between that is far easier.
The unique NV7 is paired with a 7x Schneider-Kreuznach optical zoom lens that is optically stabilized, thus the “OPS” (optical picture stabilization) label. The camera also offers manual controls and an extended ISO sensitivity range.
The Samsung NV7 OPS also includes a top ISO of 1,000 and video recording at as high as 640×480 resolution at 30fps. Not bad…

Thought we’d end the day with a series of Extreme Sports photos, explicitly named BASE Jumping!!
Not only is it a rush to shoot such extreme sport but it’s an even greater rush to actually JUMP! It’s a shot of pure adrenaline, kicking you in another universe… Nothing compares to this. It’s definitely the most extreme sport I know of and just as it has its rewards, it also has its part of risks.
If you wanna learn more about BASE jumping, I suggest you read ALL the posts in the Beginners’s Forum at BlincMagazine.com – that’s if you wanna live a long life
Until then, enjoy the photos (make sure to click to enlarge them)!!

The guys at Gigapxl Project are insane in the mem’ brain… They re-define the limits of large-format photography, digital scanning and image processing.
The custom-built Gigapxl™ cameras capture images with unprecedented resolution. Even tho Giga means 1 billion, they realized they could build a 1,000 megapixels quite easily… Sooo, as technology has advanced, the bar has been raised to 4,000 megapixels (yeap, 4 Giga); a figure that they expect to reach within the next several months.
“It would take a video wall of 10,000 television screens or 600 prints from a professional digital SLR camera to capture as much information as that contained in a single Gigapxl™ exposure.”
The image gallery is just insane!! Not only are those amazing photos from a beauty point of view, but they also are amazingly detailed! This has to do with the fact that the Gigapxl Project photographer is Graham Flint.
This is what the digital revolution is all about.
